I’m an award-winning photographer specializing in wildlife, extreme sports, and the way both interact in the natural world. I am also a seasoned safari guide with over 10 years of experience in the wildest regions of Southern Africa, guiding from a vehicle or on foot. These days, I share my love of the natural world and aim to inspire others through bespoke safari experiences and through exclusive fine art prints that bring the spirit of my journeys into your home.

I was lucky to have a love of the natural world and travel instilled in me at an early age and this further solidified as I started organizing my own trips and using my camera as a passport to the world. I have had the privilege of visiting every continent on our planet and bearing witness to the beauty of biodiversity and nuances in cultures it has to offer.

I first picked up a camera at the early age of 16 years old and was lucky to start learning about capturing light through analog photography, spending many hours in a darkroom developing my film rolls and watching my early shots come to life on the photo paper. I spent many years experimenting with different avenues of photography, made the switch to digital after spending too much money on film on one of my first safaris, & solidified my skills and vision by completing a Masters degree in Digital Photography at the School of Visual Arts in New York.

My photographic process is now focused on long-form projects that take many years and return trips to complete, in order to give my subjects the time needed to produce work of depth that represents them well.

My love for the natural world further solidified in 2015, after completing a professional safari guide course in South Africa, Botswana, and Mozambique. I was looking for ways to inspire and educate beyond my photographic work, in order to be able to underline the importance of conservation while enjoying the privilege of being in the presence of wild animals.

While observing wildlife in a wilderness area, I endeavor to take only photographs and leave only footprints in order to ensure an ethical nature experience where the disturbance to the animal is minimal and it can be observed displaying natural behavior.
