Khutzeymateen

The Grizzly Bear sanctuary of Khutzeymateen Valley in British Columbia was established in 1994 and is North America’s first designated grizzly bear sanctuary. In the Spring, the grizzlies emerge from the long sleep of hibernation to congregate in the inlet for its abundance of resources.
